I took these stairs before
Set foot on a cloud
That sent me tumbling
Falling on the ground
What was I looking for
Did I find it up there
Or on the way down
Keep me as honest, as kind
As I have been in the back of my mind
And my laughter won’t be a curse
It’s here forever, for better
For worse
So don’t ask me how I’ll live alone
Cause I don’t know
I won’t tell you that I’m never scared
In fact, if you have to go
The air will have us on our knees
If we choose to breathe
So unprepared
I’ll be looking through
Directionless as time
Limitless as rhyme
One is lost at two
I’m crippled in the moonlight
Looking for the sunshine
I once was free in the day
Nobody knew what to say
I’ll fight those heavy clouds back
Cause you won’t see this end like that
So don’t ask me how I’ll live alone
Cause I don’t know
I won’t tell you that I’m never scared
In fact, if you have to go
The air will have us on our knees
If we choose to breathe
So unprepared
I can see it coming
It’s like a train
And I can see if coming
It’s headed my way
There’s no way I’m moving
From your embrace
I can see it coming
What a danger I face, what a danger I face

I first discovered Kirstyn's music YEARS AGO, before I knew what wrock was. This album is polished and poignant, and I love the original songs just as much as the wrock! All the harmonies are gorgeous. My favourite song has to be the spookiest, with its atmosphere of tension and the juxtaposition of darkness and triumph reflected in the style and lyrics. Kirstyn has such clever turns of phrase in her songwriting that make this album memorable and delightful. yourwizardrockresource
A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems. The fact that Avery is a songwriting genius cannot be understated. yourwizardrockresource
A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource
