I was meaning to say
I love you
From the first day
And my heart would keep it away
I knew not how it’d grow so that I may go
Wherever you go
Wherever you’re taken, know that I may follow
But my, my tracks are my own
The sun’s always out so I’ll go for the lovely stroll
Is it my heart or is it the weather
I just can’t, can’t keep it together
I’m begging on my standing feet
That you might say
Say that you love me
At night, I lock up the house
And the dreams within me start
Forcing themselves out
The night is clear as day and you’re
You’re headed my way
Enveloped in scarlet, oh I love how you know what to say
While carrying roses in their long lost bouquet
Is it my heart or is it the weather
I just can’t, can’t keep it together
I’m begging on my standing feet
That you might say
Say that you love me
I can swear to you
I’ve been falling for you, true
And my heart don’t come around to visit
Darling spin me ‘round
If you’ll kiss me, kiss me now
The room will soon be spinning and you’re bound to miss it
Is it my heart or is it the weather
I just can’t, can’t keep it together
I’m begging on my standing feet
That you might say
Say that you love me

I first discovered Kirstyn's music YEARS AGO, before I knew what wrock was. This album is polished and poignant, and I love the original songs just as much as the wrock! All the harmonies are gorgeous. My favourite song has to be the spookiest, with its atmosphere of tension and the juxtaposition of darkness and triumph reflected in the style and lyrics. Kirstyn has such clever turns of phrase in her songwriting that make this album memorable and delightful. yourwizardrockresource

A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems. The fact that Avery is a songwriting genius cannot be understated. yourwizardrockresource

A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource
