I’ve seen too many midnights for no good reason
Cause I can think faster than I can fall asleep
See the wonder in my wide eyes, have I ever known
Another living person who needs me maybe so
But it’s not my place to make you worry I
Still got time of my own
And despite our desperate, howling cries for mercy
Everyone needs their time
Alone
Oh
Ask me, as if it were enough
Can you feel the fire
Burning through the air cause someone took the blood
From this bleeding heart
Wounded while you’re open, ha
This is why I’m frozen in the dark
I’ve heard this before
(I’m keeping it inside me, locked until you find me)
Oh I, I, I’ve heard this before
So I’m screaming to the heavens
This ends here
And you meant to run away from all of your regrets
You know this love isn’t going to pay off any debt you
Owe to yourself for all the years you spent
Following the hands that would keep you fed
This is happening, there’s no keeping me out of it
You’re carrying chains and they’re rattling, rattling
I can hear the voices that I think you’re battling
I can hear their words but I don’t know what they’re asking
I, I’ve heard this before
(I’m keeping it inside me, locked until you find me)
oh I, I, I’ve heard this before
So I’m screaming to the heavens
This Ends Here
Oh
A lot of life is lost when you’re taught to forget
When crying gets you trouble and you’re already spent
And owned by the debt that keeps you under
But what can I say when there’s a roof over my head
Someone calm me down
I never knew just how tight my hands were bound
Until I accidentally broke through the bridges I refuse to burn down
I’ve heard this before and I’m screaming it
My hearts open and I’m bleeding it
Ask me again if I’m needing it
(This ends here)
I’ve felt this before and I’m keeping it
But find me again and I’m leaving it
I think the heavens were listening
I, I’ve heard this before
I’m keeping it inside me
Locked until you find me, I
I’ve heard this before
So I’m screaming to the heavens
This ends
I, I’ve heard this before
I’m keeping it inside me
Locked until you find me, I
I’ve heard this before
So I’m screaming to the heavens
This ends here.

I first discovered Kirstyn's music YEARS AGO, before I knew what wrock was. This album is polished and poignant, and I love the original songs just as much as the wrock! All the harmonies are gorgeous. My favourite song has to be the spookiest, with its atmosphere of tension and the juxtaposition of darkness and triumph reflected in the style and lyrics. Kirstyn has such clever turns of phrase in her songwriting that make this album memorable and delightful. yourwizardrockresource
A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems. The fact that Avery is a songwriting genius cannot be understated. yourwizardrockresource
A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource
