My sight is fading away
stained purple and black where it's shattered
cracked by the sound of a name
I didn't know where my mind had been
often I find myself wandering
as if nothing could get in my way
But nothing comes I don't see coming
and I'm always waiting for something
though the horizons are clouded
I won't give up on a heart I can see
I'm just a slave to my love and
I won't give up til' that's nothing
I'll just go on believing
that no one will give up on me
Come along
There's poison in the water
but the taste isn't strong
Say you love
and I'll wade a little farther
cause I feel strong enough
Make me a waste of you're time I
can't help but needing this steady
just release me 'fore the day that I die
I dare someone to believe in me now
once they find out that the person they found
won't trust what she knows, but to her vision she's bound
so know who you love, she'll come around just:
Come along
There's poison in the water
but the taste isn't strong
Say you love
and I'll wade a little farther
cause I feel strong enough
the water runs clear
so there's nothing to fear
you'll never have enough before you're done for
you're done for
shatter all that I see
it's the poison I keep
all of it a hopeless way to need
come along
there's poison in the water
but the taste isn't strong

I first discovered Kirstyn's music YEARS AGO, before I knew what wrock was. This album is polished and poignant, and I love the original songs just as much as the wrock! All the harmonies are gorgeous. My favourite song has to be the spookiest, with its atmosphere of tension and the juxtaposition of darkness and triumph reflected in the style and lyrics. Kirstyn has such clever turns of phrase in her songwriting that make this album memorable and delightful. yourwizardrockresource

A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems. The fact that Avery is a songwriting genius cannot be understated. yourwizardrockresource

A long-awaited wizard rock album from a pioneer of the wrock community. Mostly wrock, but there are some other nerdy songs thrown in, though they don't disrupt the cohesion. Lauren is always awesome, and if you liked her previous music, you will enjoy this fuller sound even more. yourwizardrockresource
